WET SONGS
Nina Santes, 2024
Wet Songs is an experimental musical for five performers from different artistic fields – dance, music, spoken word, opera singing – which invokes and celebrates water as an element that transforms our perceptions, our imaginations and our relationships.
Structured around songs, Wet Songs attempts to recount, through the prism of water, what burns us, dries us out and overwhelms us, in order to outline what we could collectively re-irrigate, whether it be our emotions or spaces of possibility and connection. Wet Songs is an emotional journey, from laughter to tears: an invitation to overflow.
